By building strong relationships with Galleries and Artists we are trying to bring to your attention images that you may have been unaware of before and may mean something to you.
Look at the current state of the mobile download market, it leaves a lot to be desired. Do people not realise that they are being exploited by large corporates, used as advertising placards, sold mass marketed regurgitated pulp trash. For ducks sake wake up and smell the pondweed.Reject the old Art World.
Reject the bizarre celebrity Art World.
Reject the fuzzy hamsters and silly frogs.
Reject the consumerism.
Duck-Art is NOT for sheep.
(NB: Remain "Crap Aware" at all times)And finally, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support and hard work of Steve Lowe at The Aquarium Gallery (www.theaquariumonline.co.uk), his awesome team of top Artists who have given us a mind blowing selection of Art to help kick-start us, my pal Justin Battell and the crew at Isomob (www.isomob.co.uk) who have created our top notch streamlined mobile interfaces, and most of all Jon Meggitt and the team at Fuse (www.fuse.co.uk) who have realised the vision through building a world class website with such passion, style and attention to detail that we will all be forever in their debt.
Here's how it works:Exclusive Contemporary Art images are sourced from established Artists and presented to you on the Duck-Art website and through our SMS service. They are available for downloading to your mobile phone (and other digital gadgets in the near future) and will also be produced as Limited Edition prints which you can obtain when you sign up to our subscription service.
Duck-Art has incorporated a leading-edge image manipulation tool into its website to help you control how you want the image to look on your mobile phone screen. You select your image, select your mobile phone make and model (so that we know what screen size you have) and your screen size will appear on the website as a viewer. You can then move the image around on your screen, zoom in and out and choose your background colour to get just the view you want. You can also access the images through our SMS service by texting DUCK to 80876 (although you cannot crop and zoom these images). If you are downloading from our website we will need to take your mobile phone number so that we can send the image to you.
All Limited Edition images are only downloadable through the Duck-Art.com website. When purchasing Limited Edition downloads/prints we will provide you with an edition number to evidence your legitimate ownership. All digital images are non-transferable. Please respect our Artists.
